This internally funded program educated 30 men and women in Herat on fundamental human rights principles, focusing on gender equality and advocacy skills.

Held at Shahkar’s main office in Herat, this program trained and certified Shahkar staff to improve organizational efficiency, enabling them to execute high-quality projects and initiatives.

Conducted in Adraskan district, this mobilization project engaged 3,000 participants (1,500 male and 1,500 female), promoting awareness of women’s rights and fostering gender equality through community dialogue.

This advocacy campaign targeted 70 key community members, including scholars and leaders, across 15 districts of Herat. It focused on raising awareness and promoting strategies to reduce violence against young women.

A continuation of the earlier project, this phase focused on providing cash-for-food benefits while constructing additional retaining walls to enhance flood protection in Adraskan district. It directly supported 129 beneficiaries, ensuring food security and disaster risk reduction.
